Decision Level:Delegated - South Area
Decision Issued:20/10/2009
Decision:PERMISSION
Conditions or Reasons:
1 )The development hereby permitted shall be begun before the expiration of three years from the date of this planning permission.
Reason - To comply with Section 91 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990
2 )The building hereby permitted shall be used only for the storage of equipment and machinery necessary for the management and maintenance of the woodland, and if at any time the building ceases to be used or required for such purposes it shall be removed and the site re-instated to the satisfaction of the Planning Authority.
Reason - To ensure that the building is used for forestry purposes only since it lies within a rural area to which restrictive planning policies apply and where only development needed to meet the essential requirements of the locality is normally permitted.
Informative Notes:
1 )The Council has granted permission because:

The proposal would support the on-going efficient management of the woodland, and would have no adverse impact on the character and quality of the landscape or nature conservation. The proposal is in accordance with the relevant policies of the East Hampshire District Local Plan: Second Review.

It is therefore considered that subject to compliance with the attached conditions and taking into account all other material planning considerations, including the provisions of the development plan, the proposal would be acceptable. This also includes a consideration of whether the decision to grant permission is compatible with the Human Rights Act 1998.
2 )Please see enclosed advice from Southern Gas.
